TableClothFactory.com, an online shop for hundreds of wholesale tablecloths and table linen accessories, announced the launch of its latest product line, the Satin Overlay Collection this week. Adding to its current line portfolio of 20+ overlay collections, which include Organza, Damask, Polyester & Cotton fabrics, the company will now sell Satin fabric overlays for both square and round shaped tables of various sizes.
The Satin Overlay Collection is part of TableClothFactorys larger matching Satin Collection of table top and table accessory fabrics, including Satin tablecloths, napkins, runners, chair covers, chair sashes, table skirts and banquet table cloths. The Satin Collection from which the new Overlay line will be created, is made up of stain and wrinkle resistant, thick material that is smooth in texture. There are over 25 colors launching ranging from traditional colors like Black, White, Gold and Silver to more trendy pastel colors like Fuchsia, Aqua, Green, and Orange. The overlays will be available in sizes of 60, 72 and 90 and are made to fit both square and round tables.
TableClothFactory.com decided to launch the Satin Table Overlay product based on the demand they were seeing from their wholesale interior design and party planner clients. Clients were looking for a durable fabric that was festive in nature to overlay across their current tablecloths, in order to add depth and dimension to their design spaces. The company produced several prototypes before selecting this particular fabric to market, which was chosen based on its hemmed-stitch and seamless material, as well as low cost to produce and sell. The overlays are sold individually but also may be purchased in packs of two, as several designers often layer on double overlays in order to give more character to a hosted table.
The company has already received pre-orders from its designer & wedding planner client base and anticipates that this will be a popular selling line as the summer wedding season approaches. The Satin material is designed to match well with Polyester, Taffeta and Damask fabrics, and party planners have begun to mix and match those fabrics throughout their venues. Unlike its sister fabric, LAmour Satin, the Satin Collection is slightly thicker making it more durable for outdoor use during the Spring and Summer season. In addition to weddings and banquet halls, the companys new product line will be available for purchase for trade shows, retail outlets and restaurants as well.
The launch of the Satin Overlay Collection comes just as TableClothFactory completes its roll out of Organza Overlays, which they launched last fall. The new Satin overlays differ from the Organza material in that the Organza is a sheer, see-through material which shows the underlying tablecloths color, whereas Satin is opaque. However, both a Satin and Organza overlay may be used together in order to create a layered, sheer yet opaque table top look.
Because the material is a fine Satin, maintenance for this collection will require hand washing with warm water only, no dryers and hang drying only.
